Upcoming University Courses

Are you ready for this? The next company wide University course is coming your way over the next few weeks. The goal of this workshop, entitled ‘Winning, Owning and Keeping Customers; All Customers’, is to ensure that everyone at Amtico understands: 

• Who our customers are
• What they expect from Amtico
• Why we must focus on the customer
• The role of everyone at Amtico in winning, owning and keeping all of our customers

We live and work in a very competitive world.  Customer expectations go beyond product quality.  Customers are looking for ongoing positive experiences with the company they buy from.  If we don’t meet and exceed our customer’s expectations they may go elsewhere for their flooring needs. 

This workshop will provide an insight into how we need to satisfy our customers (internal and external) as well as the consequences if we don’t.  It is critical that we understand the consequences, aside from losing a customer.   

The workshop will also focus on understanding customer behavior and how decisions are made.  The key point is that everyone has a choice and we want to ensure that our customers always choose Amtico.  We cannot give them reasons to go elsewhere. 

European Course Dates 

Courses will be run in the UK starting Tuesday December 2, 2003 for the following few weeks. You should be hearing from your shift leader as to the date you are to attend.  

US Course Dates 

The US courses are being run on the following dates: Dec 11, Jan 12, 14, 19 and 26, all in Panola II. As part of this course we are testing our University Learning Management System through our web site. Please contact your HR rep who can provide instructions on this process.
