University Awards Update

Well, the big day finally arrived and we waited with baited breath as the winners of the 2003 CUBIC award for Best New Corporate University was announced. We are disappointed to say that we came third, but a very successful third ahead of many other reputable names in industry, but behind this years winner, a company we know well as the over 20,000 employee Emory Freight Forwarding (now Menlo Worldwide). Thank you to the work of the many people who have made this first six months of the University a success, including the People Departments who have handled so many logistical issues, the course facilitators who have added this duty to their already full schedules and have done an exceptional job, to our Operations Board who have shown their commitment to their people by making this investment in the University and to each of you who has shown an enthusiasm to learn and a continued belief in making Amtico the Customer’s Company  of Choice.
